“Believe in the infinity of your dreams”, that was the motive I intended to live by as I set forth to pursue my maiden venture – My Dearest FOOTPRINTS. A saga of beginnings, it marked a revolutionary moment in my life – a tangible asset that proved that all that I envisioned was destined to be set permanently in the changing phases of time.
It all began with compiling my rough musings that were found scribbled in my notebooks since my teenage years. “Footprints” was a dream come true for me and the journey was memorable. The exhilaration is inexplicable. Right from the manuscript to the rough draft and to finally see the book in print, is a feeling that cannot be expressed in words.
“Footprints” is a collection of my personal thoughts narrated in a poetic style. It may strike a chord and resonate with your life. You will find my poetry descriptive with vivid imagery and a flavored undertone of subtle story telling.
“Footprints” was launched in a private event at “Curry Lane, Dubai on May 25, 2019 in presence of family and friends. The book was launched by Mr Ashim R Parida, my mentor and guide who has inspired me at every step to realize my dreams. Mr Parida is a seasoned academicians and has had an illustrious stint for a decade and more in the corporate world. Besides leadership roles in HR and L&D, he is also a mentor, coach and a practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming. He has dabbled in writing and reading poetry with a philosophical twist. All the reasons for him to do the honors. It was a treat watching him recite excerpts from the book and reading out “I am a vagabond”, one of my favorite poetry that truly describes me.
This would not be possible without the support of my husband, family and friends who cheered me up at the the event which concluded with me signing off the books.
