The Asian Literary Society is a literary initiative to spread awareness among the global population about Asian Literature. This group endeavors to foster and nurture reading and writing culture amongst its thousands of members from more than 100 countries and provide a platform to express their thoughts through the alchemy of words.The Asian Literary Society organized a celebration of literature where Indian Women Achievers in the field of art, culture, and literature were felicitated along with book launches and poetry recitations. The Chief Guest was Honorable Shri Balmiki Prasad Singh , Former Governor, Sikkim.
The 2nd ALS LITFEST 2020 was organized in New Delhi on 28th February 2020 [ Friday]at DELNET, Vasant Kunj. This year the Asian Literary Society introduced the INDIAN WOMEN ACHIEVERS AWARDS and I was happy to make it to the long list under the category Literature. It was a moment of great pride as my parents graced the occasion.
