Tears flow effortlessly like raindrops today
Washing away all my repressed anguish and pain
They are an upsurge of emotions buried so deep
Let them be , they may never get a chance again
As they dry, they leave a trail behind
Impossible to either erase or try to conceal
They have been my devoted companion as others departed
Deepest hurts unapologetically they did often reveal
Teardrops may be an expression of happiness too
With the almighty when you are in prayer
Silent tears flow as your souls connect
Its a deep conversation whence noone else is aware
Tears are at times of gratitude deep
As you express your emotions tender and true
They shine like crystals & are precious gems
In possession of just a select few
Tears of passion sometimes adorn your dainty face
As you yearn for the treasured love of your life
They are vulnerable and impuissant just like you
But in adversity they teach you how to survive
Tears are pure expressions of your unpretentious soul
